Add the seasons of life you are in, and the story keeps them in mind.

Read it, or let someone read it to you.

A story takes one, three or five minutes, whichever you pick, with three illustrations painted for it.

A reflection

What the story says about you, in plain words, after the last page.

A prayer

A short prayer to pray as it is, or to start your own.

The verse

The passage the story comes from, quoted from the World English Bible.

Three narrators

Warm, Gentle and Bright read each story aloud. If narration cannot load, your iPhone's own voice reads it instead.

Warm · Gentle · Bright

Something for every morning, free.

Not every day has room for a whole story. These take a minute.

Daily affirmation

60 affirmations, each rooted in a verse, with a gentle reminder at the time you choose.

Verse of the day

Devotionals

On your Home Screen

Two widgets keep the affirmation, the verse and your streak where you see them first, on the Home Screen and the Lock Screen.

Your name stays yours.

Sistr has no account. Your name, your date of birth and your stories are saved on your iPhone. When you ask for a story, the app sends your first name, your age and the seasons you chose, so the story can speak to you. It asks before the first one.

The stories are retellings written by AI. They quote the Bible, but they are not the Bible, so every story names the passage it comes from.

A few things to know

Is Sistr free?

You can download it for free. The daily affirmation, the verse of the day, both widgets and the first devotional on each shelf are free. Premium unlocks every Bible story, the full Holy Path and every devotional, and the app shows the plans and prices before you choose one.

Are the stories the Bible?

No. They are retellings written by AI from a Bible passage, for a woman reading today. Each story names its passage, and the verses Sistr quotes come from the World English Bible, so you can always read the original.

What does the app send to write a story?

Your first name if you gave one, your age in years, the seasons of life you chose and the story or situation you picked. Your date of birth stays on your iPhone. The app asks your permission before the first story and names the companies involved.

Can I listen instead of reading?

Yes. Pick Warm, Gentle or Bright in Settings, and the story plays as soon as it opens. If narration cannot load, your iPhone's own voice reads it.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up. Your progress, your streak and your library live on your iPhone.

Which languages does the app speak?

English and Turkish. Stories are written in the language your iPhone uses for Sistr.
